Something Else Discovering KBUG  Something Else

A Brief Overview of the early days – Ross Mansell (written in 2018)

This group of cycling enthusiasts was formed back in 2003 with the aim of organising regular supervised rides for adults in the local area and also various other locations throughout NSW.

Janelle Walker and Hugh Irving were the founders of KBUG and administered the affairs of the group, along with the assistance of a small committee. There have been several changes to the committee over the years and currently a committee of seven oversee the activities of the group.

Back in the early days there were two rides every week, one in the Kiama area on Saturdays and the other in Berry on Sunday mornings.
