An invitation to Kiama BUG members …….
KBUG member Elaine Fotu is heading off on a 75th birthday adventure – cycling 1000 kms to raise funds to purchase a Trishaw for the Illawarra chapter of Cycling Without Age.

Elaine will be heading off on the first leg of her ride on Tuesday 1st November 2022, and you are invited to join Elaine on her ride from Wollongong to Sydney.
Here’s the plan….
- Meet Elaine at North Wollongong station at 8:00am on Tuesday 1st November. (Catch the 7:13am train from Kiama station to North Wollongong Station.);
- Ride to Bulli (10k);
- Then to Stanwell Park (37k) for coffee;
- Up Bald Hill and through the Royal National Park to Bundeena (64k) for lunch;
- Catch the ferry to Cronulla;
- At 2:33pm we will catch the train from Cronulla station arriving back at Kiama at 4:37pm;
- Elaine will ride on into Sydney and then travel to South Australia and Western Australia to continue her rides there…..
- Adelaide to Kangaroo Island;
- Train to Perth;
- Pedalling the Munda Biddi trail – to Bunbury & Margaret River;
- Fly home!
